How to auto add a watcher to an issue from a Custom field

Hi - have created a custom field for a user-picklist for our service desk offering, to allow a reporter to add the "originator" of a call if not themselves. what I need to do now is have the "originator" user auto added in the Issue Workflow as a watcher upon issue creation - so they can then be notified at every stage as well as the reporter.

Cannot see a way of doing this at present. Help!

Jobin - thanks for this. Found the way you suggested - had lost it amongst all the options, and since it is a custom user field, it wasnt in with the normal custom field settings. Thanks!

You might want to add the custom field directly in your notification scheme, in places were watcher field is added. That should give you the same functionality!
