How to assign a task/issue of a service management project to a team which we created

Created a project with Jira Service Management template and its the team-managed project.  My application is having 4 different integrated APIs which are managed by other teams.  Initially created a team and trying to assign an issue to that team but unbale to find out how to assign task/issue to a specific team

You can only assign issues to individual users. You can also include the Team custom field to your screen, since this is a team-managed you can do this through Project settings > Issue types. From there you search for Team field and add it to the issue type.

Also, you can set an automation rule that when a Team field is being changed, the users that are part of the group (you would have to create a group separately as well through User management this time), would receive an email.
