How can we give managers the ability to view tickets of just the people they supervise?

Hi Alison,

Did you look into using Issue Security.  You can set a default issue security and say a field for the manager of the individual reporting.  Or use a departmental field to sort that out.

You may need an add-on to set the issue security, or a manager.

Hope that helps

Susan

Hi alison,

This feature is not available by default, So if you have the script runner plugin you can write a script with the condition and post function combined. Condition can be like - if reporter or assignee in particular group - add User - x as watcher. Also there are number of plugins like JSU or JMWE where you can write these conditions/postfunction
