I'm creating a service management project with available email requests. My question is:
How can I add the email that originated the ticket as an attachment of that same ticket?

RIght now, the Email to Ticket functionality should take the subject line of the Email sent to your Service Desk Portal, and make that the new issue summary, while taking the body of the email and making that the Description field.
I do not see a way for Jira to also attach the email message file itself to the ticket, unless you are able to build some external tool that handles the issue creation and attaching.
Is there a particular reason why you want the email file itself attached to the new Jira Issue?
