How to add a 5 agent Jira Service Desk license to the existing 3 user license (append)

I have just purchased a 5 agent license for Jira Service Desk and want to add (append) that to the existing license of 3 agents we already have in use. Please describe how to append those 5 agents so we can utilize a total of 8 agents.

You cant. Jira licencing is in "tiers" not bundles of users.

When you bought the 5 user license, that is a license tier that allows for 5 users.

You cant take the 3 free users and the 5 user tier and license 8 users. Doesn't work that way.
