How to add 'Days since created' column to Filters Page?
Can you help me learn this?

What I actually want is to make topics like 'Time since last comment' red. But what I need is the 'Time since creation' information.

Hi @Tolga Teker

I don't think that this is available in Jira's native filter view. You might be able to use Jira Automation to calculate the value at regular intervals and write it into a custom field, and then view the custom field.

Out of interest - how did you actually turn the rows red in your screenshot? 🤔

On another note, if you are open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, you might want to check out the app that my team and I are working on, JXL for Jira.

JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. It also comes with a number of so-called smart columns that aren’t natively available - including the time since created - plus a range of advanced features, including conditional formatting.

With these, you can easily build a view like this in just a couple of clicks:

Time since created can also be used across JXL's other advanced features, such as support for (configurable) issue hierarchies, issue grouping by any issue field(s), or sum-ups. As you can see above, any view is fully interactive, meaning that you can work on your issues directly in JXL (but also trigger various operations in Jira, or export your data to CSV or Excel in just a click).

All this just works; there's no scripting whatsoever required.

Any questions just let me know,

Best,

Hannes
