Hello @Phil Mizzi
You have posted your question in the forum for the Jira Service Management product, but those projects don't automatically have agile boards associated with them. Did you manually create a board, or are you actually working with a Jira Software or Work Management project?
A Software project will have navigation options like Timeline, Issues, and Reports in a panel on the left. A Work Management project will have options like Summary, List, and Board displayed horizontally across the top.
We also need to know if you are working with a Team Managed project or a Company Managed project. That information will show at the bottom of the panel on the left.
If it is a Team Managed Software project issues are hidden from the Done column automatically after 14 days. You can manually trigger clearing the column if that frequency is too long. For a Work Management project the time period is the same regardless of whether it is Team Manage or Company Managed, and you cannot clear the column manually.
For a Company Managed Software project you can control when the issues are automatically hidden from the Done column using a setting on the Board Settings > General screen, at the bottom of that screen.
Thanks for your comprehensive answer!! It is company manager. However the "Hide completed issues older than" field is blank and won't allow me to enter a value. So perhaps need to contact admin for changes?

A person who is listed as an Administrator for the board, or the Project Administrator should be able to change the setting.
