How do we drill down into an Object to see the users assigned

Hi could someone advise how we see the users aligned to the Objects ?

We are getting stuck and we have built it this far and really struggling to understand the next steps 

Is there a document anywhere in Atlassian that goes through step by step on building Objects/types/schemas and how to align employees to an asset ?

In a nuttshell you require a source that holds the data on which device is linked to what person.

A first decision here is regarding the users themselves:

• Are these users Jira users with an Atlassian account?
• Would these users be Objects themselves to link?

The answer to this question would require a different approach. 

Could you first provide more details on where the data on alignment between users/devices would come from? An automated import source or would this handled manually?
