I have the following two questions:
How do I move a 'klant' (client) to an 'Organisatie' (Organisation)?
And how do I delete a 'klant' (client) or an 'Organisatie' (Organisation) within Service Desk?
You add an existing user into an existing org by clicking on the org under Customers then adding a member which move the user from ‘root’ to the org. It will create a user if they don’t exist.
you remove a member from an org by clicking on the “x” when you hover over the user.
Thank for the prompt reaction. I tried it out and indeed i now can move clients around so that's good. The 'x' on hovering was not seen by me. Thanks!
One part that I do not succeed in is how to remove a client. It seems there is no 'x' on hoovering over it to remove it, also I see no action and when I delete a user from a company it becomes visible on root level. And I would like to delete them completely from the system (ie. test users and but also customers who reported to us no longer to be avialable in the system). So the user is capable of 'soft-delete' but I am searching for a 'hard' GDPR deletion of clients (and companies).
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
so you can remove them from the project by going to project settings > people and click "remove".
you can remove their access to the entire instance (any/all projects they may belong to) by going to Jira settings/cog > user management > Jira Service Desk in the sidebar, find the user and click the ellipses and "revoke access".
you can delete the account altogether (i discourage this) by choosing "Delete account" in that same ellipses drop down.
