Hi @Pablo Gonzalez

n Jira’s native functionality, forms are generally tied to Jira users, but if you need to make your form publicly accessible to non-Jira users, you can achieve this with Smart Forms for Jira.

How to Make a Form Public Using Smart Forms for Jira

  1. Open the Smart Forms for Jira add-on
  2. Create a form or select an existing one.
  3. Enable External Sharing:
    • Click "Share Form" and generate a public link.
    • This allows anyone, even non-Jira users, to access and submit the form.
  4. Set up Create New issue (if needed) :you can set up each form submissions to create new jira issue with form details mapped to issue fields. 40.png
  5. Distribute the Link:
    • Embed it on a website, send via email, or share it directly.
  6. Responses Are Stored in Jira:
    • Submitted data will be saved inside an existing Jira issue or trigger a new issue creation.

Hello @Pablo Gonzalez

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Can you please confirm for us the type of project in which you created the form? Go to the View All Projects page under the Projects menu. Find you project in the list. Tell us what it says in the Type column.

You posted your question in the Jira Service Management Questions forum. If you are working with a Jira Service Management project, then people would access your Request Form through the Customer Portal for that project which would be found at https://<yourJiraUrl>/servicedesk/customer/portals

You have to set configuration options to specify who can access your portal. You might choose to allow anybody on the internet to submit a bug or feature request. The users will still need to provide an email address when they do that, and an account can be created for them automatically based on that email. You might decide that users are not allowed to create accounts on their own, but rather they need to be invited to access you customer portal.

You can learn more about the various configurations here:
