Hello. We'd like to implement the KCS methodologies to our workflow and first things first, we have to be able to link articles (in Confluence) to the Jira tickets. I know that we can Search an article, and then Share as comment, but how do you link whichever article you used to resolve a user's issue to the ticket?
The reason is that we'd like to be able to generate a report later on based on this linkage, for example, how many Jira tickets are linked to any particular article - this would allow us to analyze patterns of article reuse and identify opportunities for high impact business improvements.
Thanks!
Hello @khairul.anwar.sajali and welcome to the Atlassian Community!
In order to link an issue to a confluence article, you can click on the More button and then select Link.
On the left side, click Confluence Page and then enter the URL or click search for a page. Once the page is selected, click link on the bottom right hand side.
Does this answer your question?
Thanks for your response @edwin vasquez and the warm welcome!
I am aware of this method of linking. I wasn't able to figure out how I can generate a report, for example:
Do you know how I could do that? Where do I generate the report, on JSD/Jira side or Confluence side? Thanks in advance!

Thanks, We'll investigate if this one does the job.
On a side note though, Atlassian should further develop their platforms (JSD/Jira + Confluence) capabilities to allow users to utilize KCS more easily. They've been promoting KCS for a while now but I think the platform is not 100% there yet.
