I'm not sure what else to call it other than "insider" view.
I have some clients that need a little more than the portal view. I'd like to them to see something like what I see in Atlassian's own service desk. Plus I need them to see a little dashboard. I can't quite seem to search using the right terms to find instructions on how to do this. Thanks in advance!
Hi Rosa,
You would have to grant them a jira license as a user. You would then need to ensure you grant them browse to the service desk project.
But you need to make sure you don't open it up too much.

Thanks Susan. I was afraid of that.... I'm confident I can properly corral the permissions, etc. but I was hoping we didn't have to dip into the license realm.
Question: which license would be required? Just JIRA Core?

Yes you only need Jira Core for a user to be able to browse a service desk.
