How can I transfer organisation details via REST API

I have created custom fields for organisations via GUI and entered the data manually for one data record. We want to fill the fields from the CRM using the REST API.

My developer tells me that this is not possible because he cannot determine which ID the fields have and which input/update statement he needs to use.

I cannot imagine that the transfer of the organisation details does not work via REST API. Please help

Okay, my developer only knew the Jira SM Rest-API. With this is it not possible.

With the Jira CSM Rest-API it will works fine.
