How can I show a job is assigned to a contractor

Deleted user

I would like to be able to show job tickets in the Service Desk that have been passed on to a contractor to work on. I thought of maybe creating a dummy user account with the contractor company's name, but it needs a real email address and will consume a licence. Ideally I just need a status of "With Contractor" or something similar, but it would also be good to be able to identify which contractor the job has been sent to.

Does anyone have any idea how I can achieve this?

Hi @[deleted]

Welcome to the community!

If you are looking for the only identification of which ticket has been passed on to which contractor then you can use a single select/text custom field, while passing/creating JSD ticket just update this field with the contractor name.

If you use the custom field then you can fetch the report as well like to which customer how many tickets have been passed out and all.

Let me know your thought on this.

Thanks @Yogesh Mude

I have set up a field like this and it is doing what we need it to do.
