How can I set up a customized Basic Search for my team?

Hello!

I'd like to add a Client criterion to default basic search view in Jira so that it'd show fields Project, Client, Type, Status, Assignee. Now it looks like this:

Custom field Client already exists, it just sits in +More area despite the need of bigger visibility for the team. What steps should I take?

Hi @Berta Sandelewska

Unfortunately this is not possible.  You need to look into 3rd party apps. My favourite one is rich filters where you can control which filters users can search from and it has dynamic searches available too.
