I want to create linked issues in Jira Service Desk to escalate customer requests within Jira Software. I cannot find to create linked issue though. I enables the following:
Jira Settings > Issues > Issue Features > Linking Issues > activated
Permission Scheme for Jira Service Desk Project > allows to browse and to link issues for my role
I am using a trial version atm.
You need Link and Create Issues permission in both projects you want to have linked issues.

This only works in Jira Service Desk projects, not from Software projects.
