How can I enable roadmaps for a service project?

I can find guidance on how to enable roadmaps for Jira software projects, but now service projects. Can you assist? I already went into "Project Settings" and "Features" options in my service project, but I can't find timeline or roadmap options there.

Timeline is a feature that only works in Software projects.

Plans (previously Advanced Roadmaps) can be built from a filter, so you should be able to use this even with a Service project.

JSM projects do not support roadmaps, only software projects.
