Hi,

is there any possibility to connect JIRA to Postgres via Unix Socket instead of TCP/IP connection? I figured out that I get as twice as much queries per second with a socket connection than I get with TCP/IP connection. So it would be very nice to not be restricted to TCP/IP.

Kind regards

Steven

Hi Steven,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Even though I believe there is a way to setup the Unix Socket connection, I would recommend not doing it.

This way, the configuration would be in an unsupported environment. It can lead to unexpected behavior.
