How can I change the word-template for exporting tickets to word?

How can I exclude or hide the comments or generally other fields from the word-template? We are using the cloud-system of Jira-Service-Desk.

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Currently, there is no option to select the fields that will be exported when exporting to word format.

The word export is the same as print, but it will be generated to the .doc format.

If you need to select the fields, you need to select the desired columns and export them to CSV.

There was a feature request a while ago that was closed as "Won't do":

• Hide/show fields in word export
