Hide status search in portal

Hello, 

I want to hide the field to search issue with status in my jira portal but i dont know if it is possible. I've changed the name of the status in the issue type but when i click on the search field there is all my different workflow statuses.

In order for that status to not show you will need to make sure that it has been updated on all request types that use the workflow containing that status.  If you have multiple request types in that project using that status please update all of them.   If you have other projects using that status it will also show in the status list for issues that have been created in that project associated with that user.
