When you hide select-list field in service desk portal screen, you have to set a default value. Is there any workaround? Field should be null and invisible in portal because it will be filled via REST only.
No, this is currently not possible by default () . You can remove the field completely from Request type > Edit fields and explore workarounds using the Plugin 'Extension for Service Desk'.
