The odd thing is that I was sure I saw the Request Participant field on a create form in Cloud recently. However, I was just trying to find an example but could not. I also tried to add it to the form but could not. Puzzled...

The option is available once you click on 'Create' (submit) the ticket. In this case, we have been asked by our customers, the possibility to have it at the beginning of the process when they create the ticket. So all the people added as Participants may receive the notifications from the very beginning.

yes for sure you can share from a created issue in the portal but I'm sure I saw during the Create process/form. I will ping others to see if they can chime in if they have further insights.
