Hi there, dear sirs! We would like to up the infrastructure for 3 Atlassian products for first time: Jira Service Desk, Confluence and Jira Software on a single server based on CentOS 7, Apache / Ngnix http server and Postgre SQL DB. For each product we planned something about 20 users, 15 projects and 200 nodes in Сonfluence, 100 issues per month in Service Desk. How much RAM, number of cores, and CPU time does single server need to service our needs? Is it normal to use each of the Atlassian services as a single application on a shared server and how stable is it, or is it better to use Docker system containerization for everyone right away? Thank you in advance!
Hi @dosipiv
Can you confirm how many issues you have now first as that helps in suggestions.
You can also just analyse based on this sizing guide to see what suits you.
This one is for confluence.
What you do is:
Hope it helps.
Thank you Ismael, but we are only planning our infrastructure at this moment and we have not yet any issues. Our team only assumes their possible number : 20 users, 15 projects and 200 nodes in Сonfluence, 100 issues per month in Service Desk. But the main question is, can such a structure normally exist on one server without conflicts and how powerful should the server be if there are 3 products and the load I mentioned above?
As i can see in the guide provides statistics on a specific product, but are there statistics on the use of several products at the same time totally?
