Flow Chart of Jira Service Managment Development

Ross Davis
December 2, 2020

I am just not "getting" the development flow for Jira Service Management.

Is there a graphical representation of the development process available?

I think the process works as follows:

  1. Create the Prroject
  2. Create (or select existing) Issue Types
  3. Create (or use the existing) Request Types for each Issue Type
  4. Create (or modify) each Issue Type screen
    1. Create end-user and Agent screens
      1. Add fields to Issue Type screens
      2. Create workflows for each screen to show fields as needed

TIA

Ross

Hi Ross, have you perused the docs? There are some good guides to get you thru this I think but maybe you are looking for something else? https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/resources/

Thanks!

I think I found what I am looking for under the NextGen section.  I had not looked in that particular set.
