My Jira SD [server] license has expired for almost 1 year. Now i want to migrate to DC, so can i buy DC new license and apply it for current Jira. Will it be ok?

Community moderators have prevented the ability to post new answers.
You should be able to. However you should also follow-up with Atlassian Support team with a support request to ensure if there are other things that you need to perform in addition to just applying the new license key.
