How do you get rid of this. It is in every issue created.
Welcome @Susan Allaire ,
Do you have some additional context of what field you are referring to? Is you are referring to the create date field, that is there by default from the system.
When I create even a blank form, the top part fills in with:
Actual start*(required)
e.g. 1/Oct/24
e.g. 07:51 AM
and would like to get rid of it.
Thank you
Susan

Thanks @Susan Allaire .
Trying to understand the steps here as this is not something by default on my JSM projects.
So, you go to the portal, then you pick a request type, and on that form there's a field on top that says actual start date with the require "*" symbol? Is that correct? If so, you would want to look at your field scheme in your project and update that field to optional and remove that field on your request type. You'll need to be a Jira Admin and a project admin to do this.

Yes, that is what happens.
Thank you, I will go into the field scheme in the project and change it to optional.

Susan

I located the setting in the fields and was able to change it to optional.
Thank you for your help.
