Error creating issues in Jira Service Management

Kimberly Blum
October 24, 2023

I am getting a strange error in Jira Service Management. I am the sys admin and a project admin on this particular project. I'm getting the error below in the atlassian-servicedesk log. I have no idea where to find the permission the message is referring to. Any ideas on what could be going on?

Could not get request participants for SECAUTH-6: sd.request.participants.no.permission.view.participants : 'You do not have permission to view the participants on this issue, or the issue does not exist'

Hi @Kimberly Blum

Could you please check if at all there are any issue security configured in the project ? If yes, check if you are part of correct issue security & if not try adding yourself to it & see if it works.

Thanks.
