We were using local logins for Atlassian for both Portal and Jira Service Desk users.
We are trying Atlassian guard and have set it up for Jira Service Desk Technicians.
1. In order for the users to only be able to use SSO, I believe we need to migrate the policy for these users to the new Internal policy that restricts access to only SSO. Is that correct?
2. For portal users, do we need to add a brand new Enterprise application in Azure Entra applications for Atlassian Cloud and configure it?

Have you already setup authentication policies for using your own IDP for your ITSM agents to use your SSO setup to access the app?

For your customers, are you also using your own IDP to manage his/her account? If not, then there is no need to setup a brand new application. The original portal UI should works just fine.
