Emails to the customer

Hello, 

I would like to send replies to the customer in form of email not as a comments. Is this possible?

Also I would like to know if its possible to automatically link email which I`ve send from my email client to the customer under the ticket (e.g when ticket key is in the subject of the email).

Please note I am currently on the free plan as I am just testing Jira SM for future use.

If you're exploring possibilities, I'd like to point out that our app Notification Assistant for Jira is a tool that provides a better notification experience in Jira.

The app provides you with features such as customizing templates, setting your own notification rules, sending ad-hoc emails and more.

For linking emails to Jira, I would suggest that you read the "Create issues and comments from email" documentation.
