Hi,
This might be easy, but I couldn't figure it out.
I would like to get notifications for tickets that I am assigned to but not get notifications for other tickets including new tickets.
I handle the Audiovisual systems for my organization, when an AV related ticket comes up, the I.T assigns it to me. Currently, I get an email notification for every ticket that is created which is not necessary for my role and makes it hard for me to follow the tickets that count.
Thank you,
Danny
Hi @Daniel Dwyer , you need to speak to your admin (if you do not have such permissions) to change the notification scheme under project settings. I suspect there is a default role/group used in the scheme. The admin needs to remove you from said role/group and add you only to the desired notifications.
Hi @Daniel Dwyer Welcome to the community!
You need to change the Internal Notification Scheme configuration under your project settings and update the notification If an issue is created, you can notify the assignee, reporter, and request participants.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Hi Daniel - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
You should be getting a notification already when an Issue is assigned to you. Is that happening?
For the creation part, you need to modify the Notification Scheme so that you don't receive those.
