Email Commands

Hello,

I am new to Jira SD still in testing phase,

Can we send commands to Jira SD by email? for example I received an email notification that an issue was assigned to me, can I reply back to Jira SD with a command to re-assign the issue to someone else? Or to close the issue and mark it as resolved?

Without having to login to Jira SD.

Hi @Ayman Al Hakim , Welcome to the community. You cannot send Commands via email the only thing you can do is create tickets and add comments to tickets.

Oh that is unfortunate, we are moving from Spiceworks solution and we rely on this heavily there.

You might consider Slack or teams. Also the mobile app is nice.
