when an automatic reply / email is being sent to the report - the change by person name is not the individual who is making the change or the assignee of the ticket -
the name is of the JIRA admin
how do i modify this field?
If you go the the customer notification you can enter a variable there that pulls the name of the individual that made the change ${event.user.name}. If this is already set then you might need to check your automations to ensure that the automation is not kicking off the change an running under the admins name.
