Duplicate project key across JSM and Jira

I have migrated Jira from server to cloud.

Now i am migrating JSM to cloud.  But two of my JSM projects have a duplicate project key to project in my new cloud Jira.

The only option offered i to delete the Jira cloud projects (which obviously isn't viable)

Would it be possible to rename the projects in JSM before migrating?

@Big Agile ,

I suggest opening a support call for this at Atlassian (https://support.atlassian.com/contact)

The key is indeed remembered as old issues could have had that key assigned to them and when an issue is moved they also remember their old keys (so it still works for old filters and links)

Hello @Big Agile ,

Yes, you can try in both ways you can rename the project key in Cloud or Server instead of deleting.

Thanks Mayur.

Unfortunately, renaming the project in cloud has not worked.  It still says it's a duplicate because the keys used to be the same.  it remembers the history of the name.
