Does an agent see when a requester disable notification on an issue, so that agent can explicitely be sure that requester gets important information during issue handfling?

its important for agents to know.

no. there is no event or notification when they click "Don't notify me". While I have never considered this before it seems to be a bit of an oversight IMO. Reasoning - as an agent if you are trying to update the customer or ask them for input and they do not get an email because they have disabled it then the comment/RFI goes unnoticed unless they check the ticket in the portal. If the agent is aware that the customer is not getting notified they can reach out through other channels if needed. I think I will open a JAC on this.

FWIW, there is a JAC for being able to disable "Don't notify me" in portal. - JSDCLOUD-5785

Max,

A requester doesn't have that capability. The Service Desk Admin does.
