I accidentally added 300000+ users from AD into Jira Service Desk.

How can I batch delete them? We are using Microsoft SQL as database backend.

The installation got no crucial data yet as it's just installed. Should I just wipe everything and install again?

If they are coming from AD, the correct way is to remove the integration as Bryan has suggested above. Especially since deleting the user in JSD would normally attempt to delete the user back in AD which is not what you want probably.

If you somehow got them into JSD from AD but without AD integration - use our UserManagement for Jira app on evaluation license to delete them in bulk using Bulk User Actions.

I'm guessing you added them via Jira's user management by adding link to AD there? If so, just delete that user directory (you need to be logged in as a Jira Internal Directory user) and then re-add the AD connection with a better user filter.
