Is it possible to have customers self-provision from a link? I.e., we onboard a new customer and send them a link for their admins to create their own accounts in our Service Management Cloud (free plan) instance.
Or do we have to create them manually?
That's one of the features of cloud. You can create an invitation link and send that link to anyone you want to invite. Go to site site access. Alternatively, you can send the invite via e-mail as well through the admin settings.
I see your point now. Jira sends a self-provision link when you invite, but I don't see a way or place to view (let alone customize) that link in Jira. I see where to customize the invite email but that references link component variables I don't see defined anywhere.
Any pointers on that? I could capture the invite link from a sent email, but is that tailored to the customer (meaning only good for that specific invite)?
