Customer portal's register page not shows captcha's input box

We have a issue that our customer's portal register page that we can't see the input box of the captcha. The captcha's word appear.

If we inspect the code of the page we can see an input type text of the captcha but we can't see in the customer register page.

Another thing that we saw is that the checkbox of the show password doesn't appear unless you enter across the "Register to obtain a new account" URL on the login page.

 

More INFO:

  • The captcha is enabled and it shows on the service desk register page
  • The inputbox to write the captcha's box not appear
  • JIRA Core Version: 8.6.1
  • JIRA Service Desk Version: 4.6.1
  • Installed plugins:
    • GDPR for Service Desk (Disabled): 1.4.4-jira8-server-201906250828
    • Timetracker Plugin: 4.6.0
    • Atlassian Troubleshooting and Support Tools: 1.21.3
    • Atlassian Universal Plugin Manager Plugin: 4.0.13
    • TROCK Timetracking Overview And Logging: 3.0.4

Thank you for reaching out.

Per your description, I understand that the captcha input box is not appearing in the customer portal when you click to sign-up. Is that correct?

Can you confirm to us if you have enabled public sign-up in your Portal? If that's the case, I believe you must be facing a new bug in Jira application:

Enabling Captcha on Customer Signup does not show field to input Captcha answer 

Feel free to vote and watch the bug to increase its priority and also receive notifications about its fix implementation.

Although we are currently working to get it fixed, you can also roll back to the previous version of Jira SD where the captcha still works (4.1.3) in case you can not wait for the release deployment.
