Hi,

Some of our customers belong to multiple organizations and if they create a new issue on the portal the default option for 'Share With' is set to 'No one'. This then causes the 'Organizations' fields be empty on the work view if the customer does not actively selects another option. We don't want that, it must be set.

The customer permissions settings are set. If a customer belongs to only one organization, the 'Share with' is set to this organization. But once the customer belongs to multiple organizations the default option is set to 'No one'. I understand that if there are multiple organizations, it can't be set to (randomly) one of them. But how to make the customer choose one? Why is it not possible to edit/hide the dropdown options?

How to solve this?

Thanks.

Hi @J B

Welcome to the community.

There are no settings or this or an option to make this mandatory.

There is no edit or hiding, because it's based on the member of an Organisation.

If there would be an option to edit or hide, this would then need to be done based on a single customer as they could be member of 1 or n Organisations.

The solution is to not have a customer in multiple organisations, so my question why are customers in multiple orgisations?
