Customer detail fields In Automation

Hi all,
via "Customer and organization profiles" I configured extra fields for Customer.
Now I wanted to know if it is possible to retrieve or use the fields with Automations.
My purpose is to recognize the customer based on the email and retrieve the information from the extra fields I added.
