Custom field 'Approvers' is not indexed for searching - please add a Search Template to this Custom

Hi,

 

I have issues with security level and I need to add that the approvers can view the issue that are going to approve.

When I want to add the approver I have an error.

 

 

I search in this forum, how to add a search template, but I dont find information.

You can set the search template used by the field by going to Jira settings > Issues > Custom fields. From here, find the field, in this case approvers, and from the three dot menu on the right select Edit details. Then in the Search template set it to User Picker & Group Searcher.
