Is it possible to set or edit issue status identifiers yourself in Jira? Or are status IDs generated automatically in Jira and are they always numeric values?

Hi Pavel, welcome to the Atlassian Community!

No, you can not set the IDs Jira chooses for, well, everything.  Yes, they are always numeric, that's the best way to do it, and they are generated automatically.
