Custom Asset discovery command

Hello Atlassian Community,

I'm seeking assistance regarding the integration and monitoring of specific types of applications and services within an Atlassian Asset tool. Our current setup does not adequately capture all the necessary data, and we're looking for effective ways to address this. Specifically, we have three key areas of concern:

• Windows Services: We need to read information from Windows services that are not necessarily part of the standard application suite. How can we integrate these services into our Atlassian tool for better tracking and management?
• Applications Not Listed in the 'Uninstall' Registry Branch: Several of our custom applications do not appear in the standard Windows registry under 'Uninstall.' Is there a method to include these applications in the data captured by our Atlassian tool?
• IIS Sites: We also manage numerous IIS sites and would like to incorporate them into our monitoring and reporting within the Atlassian ecosystem. What is the best approach to achieve this?

Furthermore, if these requirements cannot be met through standard configurations, could you guide us on how to create and integrate custom commands or scripts into the Atlassian tool to fulfill our needs? Any examples or detailed guidance on scripting (especially PowerShell scripts) for this purpose would be greatly appreciated.
