I am seeking a viable solution for our IT Service Desk solution. We are needing to have the ability to create tickets and then have the ability to close it as soon as it gets submitted. This would serve the need for when we get calls in for "quick close" situations (known issues/outage, etc,). Any ideas?

The way I would do is is to have a transition to Close in the workflow, call it quick close, and then maybe put a condition on who can do this transition.
