I have a JSM project on Jira DC.
I need to allow agent to create issues of a specific type via Jira (not via portal) without request type.
The creation seems to work fine but as soon as the agent edits the issue a request type seems to be required. I'm quite sure it can be done on JSM Cloud, is it not supported on DC?
Found it: I removed the customer request type field from my edit screen and it works now.
Do you have app such as Scriptrunner. You may have a Behaviour configured on this that require the field to have a value.

I have scriptrunner but no behaviors.
I now removed the customer request type field from my edit screen and it works! I guess it does not accept an empty value for some reason.
