After getting a wakeup call at 2am, only to find out we had a planned outage, I have the want to create a reminder notification based on events in the chanage calendar.
Ths could be in the form of a notification or ticket depending on what is possible, I have reviewed the docs and used by google-fu but have had no luck.
Any ideas on how to achieve this?
Hi @Luke Bevan
I have recently instigated a field called "Action Due Date" that sets a date and we use this to manage notifications.
For instance if I have a change is needing to be made I can set the field to the date and it will notify via bell icon (or email) that i have a action due in 2 days/ due today/ past due.
This means the action is not dependant on a End Date or Due Date but can be anything like I need to send Comms or I need to turn this "thing" back on.
the automation is scheduled to run every morning at 9am, this has been working great, hope that something like this might work for you.

Hi @Luke Bevan
Welcome to the community!
There may be betters ways but the easiest way I can think of accomplishing this is a daily or weekly scheduled automation that sends a reminder of what planned outages are upcoming
You can reference my rule below for task reminders to create something similar for changes with planned outages.
