Couldn't send request.

This form contains a hidden field that does not have a valid default value configured.

Im facing this problem, check all the fields everything looks fine. pease help!

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

The error that you are facing means that there are hidden fields in the request type.

If it’s a company-managed project (classic), go to Project settings > Request types. Click on the affected Request type > Request form and check if the hidden fields have correct values. 

If it’s a team-managed project (next-gen), go to Project settings > Request types > Select the request type and check the hidden fields.

If everything is correct with the Request type, can you please open the developer tools on your browser while creating the ticket and check on the console tab if it shows any other error?

If so, can you please send us a screenshot? Just make sure to hide private information.

Even i had the same issue but i figured out.

It happens if the inactive users are tagged to any custom field value as "Default Value".

Ex: Approvers/Assignees/User pick list.
