Cost Optimising

Deleted user September 30, 2021

As a company fairly new to the world of Jira service management products, we currently have x2 completely separate sites setup. One for project and development and the other for ITSupport

-----------------------------

So for example we have...

https://itsupport.atlassian.net/

https://projectanddev.atlassian.net/

-----------------------------

At present, we have the free version for ITSUPPORT (restricted to x3 agents) and for PROJECTDEV we are paying for several agents to manage the tickets.

So my question is this...

If Jo.Bloggs@company.co.uk needs to be an agent across both ITSUPPORT and PROJECTDEV, is there any recommendations to only pay once for jo.bloggs@company.co.uk to be an agent across both sites?

If not, then are there any suggestions?  For example have both ITSUPPORT and PROJECTDEV at the same site, but separated into individual projects?

Answers on a postcard :-)

Not at the cheaper levels, no.  You have two separate systems, and the access to each is subscribed separately.  Jo will need two subscriptions as an agent, one to each system.

If you are a larger organisation with a swathe of different Atlassian systems, an Enterprise licence scheme is available, where, yes, Jo could be an agent in many different Jira Cloud (and DC) systems with only one subscription, but you are looking at a big price tag for that.
