Copy Workflow into another instance

Need to copy a workflow from one instance to another

Only Jira and system admins can import workflows from XML.

There is an "import" button near the top right of the workflow screen -

The import option doesn't appear on my server instance. only (import from marketplace that appears).

to import a workflow from on jira instance to another does it need a specific permission, knowing that i am a jira admin.

Go to Admin -> Issues -> Workflows, click on the one you want to copy and use the "export" option to get it.

On server, you can import the file directly.  For Cloud, you can only import a workflow from the marketplace, so when your export is complete, follow the links to the docs on how to make your workflow available there for the other Cloud system to import it.
