We originally starting using service desk internally for our team to submit their hardware requests and issues. We added confluence after the fact and now, every time we migrate a customer only to be a confluence user we get an SSO error for the user to be able to sign in either confluence or service desk. The error is "the user is not assigned a role" in the application. Any suggestions?

Just for us to better understand and help you with this issue, can you please send us a screenshot of the error?
Are this customers being converted to see Confluence pages without a license or are you converting them and adding a license to their profiles?
If you want them to see Confluence pages without a license, are they being added to the "Service Desk Customers" role in the SD project?
