hello, i am trying to connect JIRA with Integromat.

I have created a scenario in Integromat that when even i receive an email in mail.zoho.com, it should be created as a new issue in JIRA. While doing so I am getting an error "The operation failed with an error. [400] [reporter]: Account ID axxxxxk@gmail.com does not exist."

How can i create a new reporter in integromat?

Hello @Ashutosh_Pareek ,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

I believe the error message is actually returned by Jira.

Indeed, if I understand correctly, what is happening is the following:

  1. You are trying to integrate Jira with Zoho using Integromat
  2. Sending an email to Zoho mailbox should create an issue in Jira
  3. However, this does not work and you get the error:
"The operation failed with an error. [400] [reporter]: Account ID axxxxxk@gmail.com does not exist."

If my understanding is correct, and if you are actually trying to create issues in a Jira Service Desk project, then it can be the case that you are using a Jira (Core/Software) email handler to create the issues instead of using the Jira Service Desk built-in processor, as explained in the below thread:

If my understanding is not correct, or this is not the issue you are facing, please let us know:

  1. The documentation or the steps you followed to configure the integration
  2. The steps you follow to reproduce the issue
  3. The complete error message and more details on where you see it.

Cheers,
Dario
